A holiday craft market with vendor booths, string lights, and tables of handmade gifts and wreaths
Things to Do / November 3, 2026

A mid-November weekend of gnomes and holiday shopping.

The second weekend of November is when local holiday shopping shifts into gear: Gnome Fest Day at Tualatin's Red Sled Market on Saturday, November 14, the West Linn Community Center Holiday Bazaar running November 14-15, and the enormous Holiday Food & Gift Festival at Wingspan November 13-15, all within easy reach of 22379 SW 107th Ave.

By mid-November, the fall harvest festivals have wrapped and the holiday season takes over. This weekend is a good one to start shopping close to home and near it: a gnome-themed day in Tualatin, a community-center bazaar across the river, and Oregon's biggest holiday shopping event a half-hour away. Here is how to line up the weekend.

Saturday, November 14

Gnome Fest Day at the Red Sled Market.

The Tualatin holiday shopping season is in full swing, and the Red Sled Market, now in its 30th anniversary season, celebrates Saturday, November 14 with Gnome Fest Day. The Nyberg Road pop-up is filled with 80-plus local makers selling handmade gifts, jewelry, candles, cozy knits, and gourmet treats, and the day adds gnome-themed fun for families browsing the booths.

Find it at 7111 SW Nyberg Rd (the Best Buy Mall) in Tualatin, open through December 24. Hours and activities for Gnome Fest Day are posted on the market's website, so check ahead and go early before the good stuff sells.

Saturday-Sunday, November 14-15

West Linn Community Center Holiday Bazaar.

Across the Tualatin River, the West Linn Community Center hosts its holiday bazaar on Saturday and Sunday, November 14-15, from 9 AM to 3 PM at 1180 Rosemont Rd. Local crafters, vendors, and early holiday browsing fill the weekend in a relaxed community-center setting, without the big-market crowds.

It is a pleasant 15-minute drive from Tualatin through Willamette and the West Linn riverfront, and it pairs nicely with the region's other small bazaars. For the full November shopping calendar, including bazaars in Wilsonville and Lake Oswego on later weekends, see our holiday bazaars guide.

Friday-Sunday, November 13-15

Holiday Food & Gift Festival at Wingspan.

If you want the whole thing in one trip, the Holiday Food & Gift Festival fills the Wingspan Event & Conference Center in Hillsboro with hundreds of exhibitors selling art, crafts, jewelry, clothing, woodcraft, photography, toys, and Christmas decor, plus food and gift vendors, wineries and distilleries, and Santa. It runs Friday and Saturday, November 13-14 from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday, November 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

It is one of the largest holiday shopping events in the Northwest and about a 25-minute drive from Tualatin, an easy day trip that can knock out most of a gift list in one afternoon. Confirm the exhibitor list and ticket details on the festival's page before heading up.

Looking Ahead

The season picks up right after.

The weekend after, ZooLights opens at the Oregon Zoo on Friday, November 20, and the Winter Village ice rink at Orenco Station opens November 29. Then December lands with a thud of good cheer: the Light Parades roll December 4-6, Starry Nights lights the Commons, and the Tualatin events calendar fills with free holiday gatherings, from the New Horizons Big Band concert on December 7 to La Posada NavideƱa at the library on December 18. Start the season this weekend and you will be nicely ahead of the rush.

The Season Starts Here

Plan one weekend, enjoy the whole season.

Tualatin's location makes this the perfect home base for a holiday season that stretches from gnome parties on Nyberg Road to the biggest gift festival in the Northwest. If being at the center of that calendar sounds right to you, Paul Knighton of MORE Realty would love to show you 22379 SW 107th Ave and the weekends that come with it.
