Tualatin Light Parades: A Holiday Tradition.
The Tualatin Light Parades return December 4-6, 2026, with three free parades of decorated vehicles winding through different parts of town. Here is how to enjoy them near 22379 SW 107th Ave.
Every December, the City of Tualatin's Parks and Recreation department trades the usual community parade for something more intimate: three free parades on consecutive nights, each covering a different part of town. Festively decorated and LED-lit vehicles, led by Santa along with Tualatin Police and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, wind through neighborhood streets while residents line the sidewalks and wave.
The 2026 parades run the weekend of December 4 through 6, with routes that pass through the community's north, south, and west neighborhoods. That means a route typically comes right through the south side where 22379 SW 107th Ave sits, near Ibach Park and the surrounding family streets.
Plan your evening
How to enjoy the parades.
Pick a night and route
The three parades each start in the early evening, around 6:00 pm, and take roughly 60 to 90 minutes to complete a 5 to 6 mile route. The city posts each night's route ahead of time, so you can pick the one closest to home and arrive early for a good curb spot.
Decorate and join in
Residents are invited to decorate their own cars, trucks, bikes, and golf carts and join the parade. Registration is free, and it is a favorite way for neighbors to get into the holiday spirit together. Check the city's parade page to register and get the route map.
Bundle up and bring chairs
December nights in Tualatin are cold and often damp, so bring warm layers, a thermos, and folding chairs. Arrive a little early, pick a well-lit stretch, and enjoy the glow as the decorated vehicles and Santa roll by.
More holiday cheer
Make a night of it.
Before or after the parade, pair the lights with a visit to Lee Farms, where the historic family farm sells fresh-cut Christmas trees and holiday treats through the season. Warm up with cocoa and a hayride, then head home to a neighborhood already sparkling with its own decorations.
For exact 2026 route details and parade registration, follow the City of Tualatin's parks and recreation page as the date approaches, since per-route specifics are posted closer to December.
