Tualatin's dining scene has a homegrown destination for Tex-Mex, and it comes with a story. La Industria Tex Mex, at 20185 SW 112th Ave, is the latest chapter for the Lee family, who opened their first restaurant in Lake Oswego in the 1980s and have been feeding the south Portland metro ever since. What began as Industry Restaurant in Tualatin grew into La Industria, a family-run kitchen known for smoked meats and handmade tortillas.
The menu leans on Tex-Mex classics built with Pacific Northwest ingredients: smoked brisket and smoked meats, buttermilk flour tortillas pressed in-house, chili con queso, fajitas, enchiladas, and fresh guacamole.
