October 18, 2026
West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta.
Tualatin's most famous event returns on Sunday, October 18, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Lake of the Commons. The West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta is exactly what it sounds like: competitors climb into giant hollowed-out pumpkins and race across the lake in a spectacle that draws thousands of spectators from across the Portland metro area. Named one of America's best fall festivals, this free event is pure community joy.
Beyond the races at noon and 2:00 PM, the day includes a giant pumpkin weigh-off, a 5K Regatta Run and Walk, pumpkin bowling and golf, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment. It is the kind of event that defines a community, and it happens right in the heart of Tualatin. The best part? It is completely free to attend.
September Through October
Lee Farms Fall Harvest Festival.
Lee Farms, a Tualatin landmark operating since 1869, transitions from its late-summer Sunflower Festival into the beloved Fall Harvest Festival as September arrives. Located at 21975 SW 65th Ave, the farm transforms into an autumn wonderland with hayrides through the fields, a sprawling corn maze, a hay maze for younger kids, barrel wagon rides, and a beer garden for the adults.
The pumpkin patch is the centerpiece: acres of pumpkins in every size and color, ready for picking. The farm market and bakery are open Wednesday through Sunday, stocked with fresh produce, baked goods, pies, and seasonal treats like caramel apples and fresh-pressed cider. It is the kind of family tradition that makes growing up in Tualatin special.
