Dave's Hot Chicken opened its Tualatin location on Friday, April 30, 2021, as the first Oregon outpost of the fast-growing California chain. Franchisee Alex Karcher brought the brand to 7715 SW Nyberg St, inside the Nyberg Rivers shopping center just off I-5, and the neighborhood has been ordering at heat levels ever since.
The format is simple and honest: chicken fried to order, tossed in your choice of spice, and served with the classic sides. No table service, no fuss, just very good hot chicken at a counter.
The Menu

The menu centers on chicken tenders, sliders, and bites, each fried fresh to order and finished with the brand's signature seasoning blend. Spice choices run from No Spice to Lite Mild, Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, and the infamous Reaper, so there is a level for everyone from picky kids to self-described chili heads.
Classics are the protein served ketchup-style on toasted Texas toast. Sides include house-made kale slaw, crinkle-cut fries, and mac and cheese. The chicken is halal-certified, and the restaurant is open every day from 11 AM to 1 AM, which makes it one of the few places in town still serving real food after a late night out.
